Greetings GH Families,

Welcome Back Gretchen Higgins Families! We are so please to welcome
back our families from last year and we are especially pleased to
welcome all our new families. We are looking forward to a spectacular
year of learning for all of our students. I would like to encourage all
of you to take an active roll in your child's education. Join the PTO,
become an SSC member, volunteer to help with our new PE program or in
your child's classroom. We have lots of ways you can help, whatever
your schedule. Please stay in contact with your child's teacher so you
know how your child is doing and what you can do to help them succeed.
Again I'd like to welcome you back. It's going to be a great year.

CPT Schedule (Every Wednesday beginning the first day of school)
Kindergarten: 8:15 a.m. to 11:35 a.m.
Grades 1-6: 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Regular Schedule (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays)
Kindergarten: 8:15 a.m. to 11:35 a.m.
Grades 1-3: 8:15 a.m. to 2:40 p.m.
Grades 4-6: 8:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

Parents, please go over the school rules with your child at home:

1.     Students no longer need to freeze when the recess bell rings; however, they should remember to walk directly to the line.
2 .     Scooters and bikes need to be walked everywhere on campus.
3 .     Students are to eat snack near the bathrooms only.
4 .     Students are to arrive to school no earlier than 8:00am.  No playground supervision is provided before that time.
5 .     When walking in the Fire Lane to and from class, primary students need to walk on the inner side of the lane, and upper grade students need to walk on the outer side of the lane.
6 .     Students are not to visit classes and ask to help unless they have a note from the teacher.
